Too many Veterans return home only to fight a new battle: isolation. The silent struggle leads to devastating outcomes.
22 a day.
We lose too many of our brothers and sisters to suicide. It's a national tragedy that demands action, not just awareness.
This Ruck March bridges the gap. By walking side-by-side, sharing the load, and building community, we fight isolation and honor those we've lost.

Orem → Lindon → PG
After 7 miles, nothing tastes better than victory and perfectly smoked meat. Join us at the finish line for our legendary Pulled Pork Fundraiser.
Enjoy slow-smoked pulled pork, classic sides, and cold drinks while swapping stories with fellow marchers.
Secure Your Meal TicketThe total distance from the Orem City Cemetery to the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery is approximately 7 miles.
Absolutely not! While many Veterans and service members choose to carry a weighted pack to honor the tradition, this is a community walk. We welcome strollers, families, and anyone who wants to walk in honor of the fallen.
We highly recommend comfortable walking shoes/boots, sunscreen, a hat, and a reusable water bottle. While we provide water at the Lindon stop, staying hydrated throughout the 7 miles is key.
We recommend "carpooling" with a friend—park one car at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery and drive together to the Orem start. We will have a limited number of "Sag Wagon" vehicles for those who need a lift due to injury or exhaustion, but they are not intended for general shuttling.
Yes! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. Please remember to bring water and cleanup bags for your furry companions.
Yes, but we strongly encourage pre-registration. The deadline to guarantee your T-shirt size is May 10th. On-site registration will be available at the Orem Cemetery starting at 7:00 AM, but shirt availability will be limited.
If you purchased the Patriot or Ultimate Ruck packages, you can pick up your gear at the check-in table at the Orem Cemetery on the morning of the event.
We march rain or shine. Our Veterans served in all conditions, and we will honor them regardless of the weather. Please dress accordingly!
YES! We encourage the entire community to join us at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery for the fundraiser BBQ. It’s a great way to support the mission even if you aren't able to make the 7-mile trek.
100% of the net proceeds go directly to The Veterans Lounge. These funds help us provide peer support groups, community events, and suicide prevention resources for local Veterans in Utah County.
The Veterans Lounge is a registered 501(c)(19) non-profit. The portion of your registration that exceeds the value of the goods received (shirt/meal) is tax-deductible. We can provide a donation receipt upon request.
